Breaux Bridge La.
I have 1a 96d1. The front seat lower cushions are the only interior peices that are worn
But I have a little (or big) problem. The Rover bucket seats don't fit my Bucket. I'm a bit wider than they are. I'm thinking about reupholstering them a little flatter instead of the sort of hollowed out design they come with. Has anyone done this?? Is there an aftermarket upholstery source that doesn't want an arm and leg?? Ideas
Thanks

Know anyone with a big sewing machine?

I had the bottom part of a seat re-done for about $125CDN.
I've also taken an entire Disco's upholstery apart and cut out patterns for a shop to put together new seats for me, that cut the cost big time...

You might even find a furniture guy who will do your seats for cheaper then the car guys, and the guys who do boat tops have all the same gear for doing seats... just some ideas, if you shop arround you should find a reasonable price.

Just out of curiosity is the support under your seat broken?
