Hey guys - Wondering if you guys can help source out a thumping noise I am getting when the rear axel drops off. Happens when I go over any bump large enough for the wheel to drop (not there if I crawl over a rock for example). I had originally thought it was my rear air bags but I recently dropped in coils and the noise persists. I don't think it is the shock bottoming out b/c I have OME HD rear shocks in place and the noise will occur even if the drop is only as high as the curb. My truck is a 2000 DII with ACE and previously SLS. Could it be the watts linkage straightening out? Bushings on the radius arms? Doesn't seem to matter which side drops or whether both drop together. But it has become incredibly annoying.
