In the finishing stages of building up a 4.6 with crower 229 cam. Ordered all new timing chain, cam gear and crank gear. After the gears and timing chain were installed and the top end of the motor all put together we were rotating the block and noticed that the entire timing chain is tight throughout about 90% of the rotation but there is slack in one area when your rotate to it. It's not a terrible amount of slack, but you can wiggle the chain slightly with your fingers when you hit the spot.
Wondering if this is common and acceptable or if this is a problem I need to investigate further.
