Just remember, when in doubt; all dogs bite, all guns are loaded, and all snakes are poisonous. Sound advice for kids and adults alike

That is perhaps the most useful and succinct piece of advice ever given.

Treat your problems like a dog would, If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away.

While I can't/shouldn't eat my recurring problem I do hump it occasionally. Pissing on it and walking away would cost to much.

About the whole electric fence thing. While trying to get to a favorite fishing hole a friend and I became stuck. Walked back to a farm we passed for help. Took a shortcut through a field of waist high grass, and walked right into an electric fence, well my buddy did. Got it tangled around his legs, and while we look back on it and laugh it wasn't funny at the time. The guy was almost in tears and screaming at me to do something, but watching him I wasn't about to touch that thing, so I took off running to the house, no body around, run back. Brian is free of the fence, pissed at me, like it was my fault, and still very shaken. To this day he'll still state the hardest thing he's ever done was to reach down and grab the wire to untangle it.

It's my opinion that taking the bull by the horns is a lot harder than hanging on to a heifers ass.

The moral here is that it is better to be shit on whilst having sex than being taken for a ride around the field and being gored.
