Trying to figure out which tires to purchase for my D1.

1) 235/85/16 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM
2) 235/85/16 Dunlop Radial Mud Rover
3) 235/85/16 Dunlop Radial Rover R/T
4) 235/85/16 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R
5) Or a set of Super Swampers

I chose the Goodyear MT/R 245/75/16 blackwalls and got them from Samsclub for $146.66 + $9 to install each. That's about $850 with tax for 5. They had all of the other choices in your poll except Super Swampers of course. The Dunlops were in the $120 range. Best prices I could find.

I've got a set of 265/75 R16 Mud Rovers on my DII and have nothing but good things to say, quieter than the stock 18" Goodyears and being in Florida I've had plenty of good experiences with them in the rain. Plus if they cup it's only ~$700 for a set of 5 new ones from Sam's.
