Hello,
I will change my tires soon and i cant decide what size of tire will fit my Disco1.
I don't want wide tires, i prefer skinier ones. Im deciding between:
205/80 R16
205/85 R26

215/75 R16
215/80 R16
215/85 R16

Thank you for help and info.

Have 225/75-16 on my ‘96 D1. Good selection and decent prices. Slightly taller than the OEM size 235/70-16 and narrower. IMG_4347.jpeg

I had 215/85R16 on my D1 for quite a while and liked them a lot. 2" lift, no issues at all and I never drove it fast enough to worry on the highway. It might have even been without the lift. The tire guy was surprised they fit, but it was perfect.

For sure you're gonna want 10-ply/E-rate or better with a 205 or 215 at 80-85%. I am running LT235/85/16 m/t tires and I really like them; skinny but not too skinny (stock width for NAS). These DO require the Camel Cut. I have 2" OME springs with ~120K miles on them, imo they look like about 1 inch to 1.5 in the rear (max).. but they are the 2-inch version. I really like the 215-80.. but the nice thing about the 235/85 is that (with the R380) it puts the wagon right at 60mph @ 2000rpm.
