In what alternate universe was that? In this Universe they made a crappy product that barely passed as useable.

I tried to get one for my D2 summer of 07 and there was no-one that could give me an estimate of arrival. I ended up with a RTE and love it, but it had to grow on me.

For Land Rovers or in general?

Everyone always complained about ARB's rotating, but I never saw one rotate on a toyota under pretty severe winching conditions. FWIW>

I had one on an '04. It was good looking and the brush bar and winch tray was sturdy but the corners were weak and could be bent up fairly easily. The winch was hard to reach and see on them too.

Just because its an ARB or TJM doesn't meant that they mount the same on all makes and models...

I had a TJM and it was a great looking bumper, but the winch was a PITA to get to and sat really low. No matter how tight I cranked on the mounting bolts though it would still move a little, but the winch tray wouldn't move which is really all that matters. I couldn't find a winch tray for one at all and I called Fourwheel parts who then called the HQ in Knoxville and they still had a bunch of winch trays sitting on the shelf ready to ship, so you might want to try calling them first...this was after a lot of rover places told me they were backordered, etc. I would rather just put the cash towards a RTE or HLC bumper. I went with a RTE one over a year ago and couldn't be happier.

I?m surprised that TJM and ARB were still exporting to the USA.

5 or 6 years ago, the AUD $1.00 was worth less than US $0.60; now (with minor fluctuations) it sits about US $0.80

Rationalising their market?

You have to sell an awful lot of bars to be able to continue exporting when your profit margin has taken a 30% hit
