top gear reviews LR3

Has anyone seen the November 7 Top Gear review of the LR3? They installed some MT/Rs and a winch on the rig and drove it up a "scottish mountain". Pretty much greenlane stuff but it's nice to see Top Gear focusing on the off road capabilities of the vehicle rather than HP and performance. They even show the UK version of the Pull Pal in action.

I love Top Gear but can't figure out how to watch it aside from downloading little tidbits off the internet. Any other options?

Maybe I should get a TV and cable, eh?

I've driven the LR3 up a muddy rock crawl, down slick muddy hills, over wash-outs and a few other obsticals.

If you can follow a stock LR3 up the trail with a stock D2 and not get stuck, you're a better driver than me. I drove both on those trails and only had to get winched out with the D2.

You can download the Top Gear shows in a few places on the web, I got mine from here:

That show rocks. I have recently become addicted to Fifth Gear, which is on Speedvision here in the US. I like the Top Gear/Fifth Gear style of review, it is less like an advertisement and more honest.

The end result of the LR3 Top Gear review was it made it to the top of the mountain, after getting sunk into the Scottish bogs twice! They said it was not as good as a Volve XC90 for family hauling (the 3rd row is more difficult to access), and they poked fun of the 2.7 ton curb weight... But they said it had a brilliant ride, was excellent offroad, and was really a fantastic vehicle overall, albeit a bit much for the average person.
