Anyone watching Top Gear on the Discovery channel right now? Jermey is going to try and drive the LR3 up a huge mountain without roads. He said it would be "the ultimate test"

I love TopGear because the REALLY test the vehicles to see what they're capable of

He really summed it up nicely...

"My watch is good to 1000 feet. I will never go there, but it's nice to know that it'll be ok when i drop it in the sink."

Most LR owners wont go to the places that the truck can handle, but they still make the purchase and get into the lifestyle because it's nice to know they have the vehicle to take them there.

A good segment on a great show!

Yeah that was great I see he opted for the rear locker and the diesel was nice.

I also read oin some truck mag that the LR3 was voted best on?off road suv by them out of five, Land Cruiser, ?, Dodge Ram Quad Cab, H3, LR3

Great episode!! Loved the granny doughnuts and then....the LR3!!

I wonder if he would have still gotten stuck if he had punched the throttle a little more....although, some of those peat bogs are like quicksand.

I was impressed...though watching him race the Ford GT was a little more exciting!
