As for the D2 wheel hub we need to torque it to 490 Nm/ 361 ft lb, that need quite a big torque wrench do the job, do you guy buy one to do this specific work? What other work on the truck need to be torque to such high number? And how useful of owning one big torque wrench? I just have one goes up to 150 nm,lol.
Edit: sorry forgot to mention, for the hub, properly will need to get to the shop to re-torque it of I am not getting the wrench.

Have a shop do it. Imagine what the torque wrench will cost!

Yeah, getting a decent one is like few hundred pounds and use it a 4 times then sit on the tool box for the next few years waiting for the bearing to fail again.

You could look into buying a torque multiplier? That's how I do it on the old 911s.

I have a 25" breaker bar.

I weigh 175 to 180.

When I did my D2 hub, I just set that angled a little above parallel and then balanced on the very end with one foot for the final torque.

This is the way. Lard asses will have to do some math to mark where to step on the bar.

With this equation, I pretty adjust where I stand on the breaker bar (r) in order to achieve the desired torque amount.

it's probably $99 at Harbor Freight and it will break with first use

I bought off of eBay a used £120 ($150) 140-560 N.M.(100 - 410 LB - FT) torque wrench overall length 44.5” with a 3/4” square drive just for my D2 hubs.
I took it to get calibrated it was slightly out of spec but surprisingly still allowable to use.
