I have an '06 v8 and when I tow my D1 on an 1800# trailer, I get some instances where the DSC warning light flashes and the TC gets activated. It happens more on LH turns than RH, such as a highway off ramp, but it doesn't do it everytime. (Well, everytiime I tow at highway speeds.)
It's perfectly normal without the trailer, and accelarating/slowing with the trailer.
I had a front diff replaced about 12k ago, but only in the last 3k have I seen the problem.
And, does anyone know if an DSC "event" is recorded in the ECU memory, even if it's not a hard fault?

No suspension noises other than the DSC kicking in. Happened again Saturday am on my way to Rausch Creek with the trailer and it does seem to be related to steering angle- I could invoke it with more steering input.
Happened again Sunday am on my way to Rausch w/o the trailer, on the same corner, but it was snowy/cold/icy.

Isn't that normal for it to do? I mean, with or without a trailer, shouldn't the DSC work?

Maybe with the trailer you've got too much, or too little , tongue weight.

Other than yesterday's trailer-less episode on the slick pavement, every occurence has been on dry pavement.
I guess it could be normal, and a surge as the trailer travels over the same section of pavement as the truck just did could slightly lighten the front end of the Rover, but it just seems to have happpened at steady state, on a dry road.
The light goes out and all goes well, I was just curious if the DSC ECU records each event, even if it's not a fault.
I'm workin through a software update issue with Autologic and I should be able to plug in soon.
