Trailer towing electrical plug

2000 Disco II, found the plug under the tail light. Can I find a pigtail at auto parts place or is it a dealer item. Thanks in advance for any info.

Its a dealer item and is very expensive! Got to parts shop and get the conversion box and hard wire it in, costs about $30.

This worked great on my 01 D2. The model number for the kit was different. Just get one that is for converting independent to common. It was staightforward, but working with the wiring can be a pain.

I saw that Atlantic British has a new kit. Looks cheaper and better than factory, which had some recalls for quality. I used a generic box and located the correct plug pins with a multi-meter. Has worked fine for years for a standard flat plug.
