Transfer case front output vibration

The front output shaft/flange on my 01 D2 has been vibrating for a couple years now. Until recently, it was live able. I've replaced both the flange and front output bearing, but have never been able to reduce the rotational wobble. It can be moved up and down a fair amount just by hand and vibration over 65+ mph is pretty bad. Oil leaks out of the front with a new seal.

In searching and getting different opinions, it seems that the front output casing can wallow out and allow play.

I've ordered a used front output casing and was just going to replace that vs the entire transfercase, but I'm trying to verify that there's nothing in the main body of the LT230 that can cause the front output to wobble

This is the write up I found on replacing the front output casing

No one is aware if replacing the front output casing on an LT230 can get rid of rotational wobble from the output flange?

Anything inside the main body of the transfercase that can cause wobble on the front output flange or is the output flange/shaft totally resting in the bearing inside the body of the output casing
