Hello, I just had a new transfer case put in the rover by a shop that was doing some other work on the truck as it had been broken into. When I get under there to look i can see some oil leaking from the point where the transmission output and the t-case meet. So I need to go back and get them to redo the whole thing, so my question is since they dont seem to know much about rovers is, is there a gasket that should go between there or just rtv?

There are two seals that seal the spud shaft - one on the trans/transfer adapter housing end and one on the transfer.
There are also a couple of the bolts that thread into the transfer that need RTV or something on them as they go right into the transfer and will leak gear oil out if they are not sealed.
