Transmission brake assembly

This is on a D2, I don't know if it's the same set up on a Defender, but just in case here it goes. My hand brake was seizing because lack of use, I took it apart and when removing all parts inside drum I kind of lost the detail on how the lever goes with the right shoe. There are 3 washers that goes on the pivot that keep both parts together, 2 bellevilles and 1 flat washer, anyone know the sequence and where those washers go ?

This is for removal, but reinstallation should be the same.. If ya got the shop manual, pg. 70-40.


"Remove 'C' clip securing cable lever to brake
shoe. Remove flat washer, lever, 2 Belleville washers and pivot pin."

My concern is if some of those washers goes in between lever and shoe.

RAVE shows all three washers under the circlip:

Described as a retention kit, item 8 is part # ICW100000

So it would be assembled in following order:

Pin - lever - shoe - flat washer - belleville washer - belleville washer - circlip ?

Why would they put all the washers together ?

Shit.. it's already back together.
