Anyone else using one? Did you mount it inside the belly pan or on the bottom?

d2 trans has a magnet in it, and I would imagine any ZF rover one does.

looks like that goes on the outside?

I'm assuming putting it on the inside wont cause any problems though. Id rater it inside. The stock trans magnet is very small and doesnt do a great job.

You could use any type of magnet and long at it dont interfere with anything

I've got one on there and have for quite some time. It goes on the outside toward the lower end of the sump. I haven't dropped my pan since I installed it so blind faith it is LOL.

I've got three magnets on my rig(external mounted)
1 Oil filter
2 Oil pan
3 Trans pan
