So each time I throw and clear the CEL (Check Engine Light) my FUSE blows. Im not sure if thats the reason why but, it just so happens to happen every time I clear it (from my gas cap P0455). So why would it do this? its blown 3 times...Im running out of fusses!

Something is shorting to ground... causing the fuse to blow.

** edited Due to my inability to f-ing read clearly earlier*** during a fit of spaz-morphic dyslexia I confused CEL with CDL...WTF?

which fuse?

It's the fuse tied to the transfer case. We bumped it up 5 amps. From 15 to 20. Is that ok?!?

And it's doing GREAT, didn't blow the fuse driving through the neighborhood or going up the street to BP to fill up!

But I would like to know what the worst thing is that could happen and the likelihood of it happening is!?
