I got stuck in my parents drive way -- it's about a 30 degree climb at one spot -- but there was only an inch or two of snow. The DII had it's diff locked when I started up, but I could only get half way and then would slide down sideways, and snaking all the way back to almost colliding with my mom's car, or off into the stream and trees in the woods.

However, the next day I tried it again. This time it was very slick and difficult to even walk on, but I was in the DI with TT up front and BFG A/T's with snow rating. I didn't even have to lock the diff and drove right up it without any difficulty at all.

Tires do make all the difference in snow.
