troubles with 1997 Land Rover Discovery v8i

I went out and started the vehicle to go to work and as soon as I put in drive idle started to fault and so I put in park and vehicle idled just fine put in drive and the idle was ok until I pushed the gas and vehicle faltered. I found if I leave in drive and don't push the gas it will drive at idle speed but I push the gas it sputters like its not getting the fuel it needs I have already changed the fuel filter,plugs,and plug wires one at a time so I would not mix up fireing order

Check the fuel pressure at the Fuel rail. You need about 32-35 psi if I recall.

It's the V8i trucks that always have all the issues...

If Land Rover had only just put a V8 in there, gosh what we could accomplish....

Thanks to you all. I don't have access to pressure tester until Tuesday is there any other suggestions to pass the time. (Things to look at)

use a cheap tire pres tester

should I be getting the same 32-35 psi with a cheap tire gage if so I only got 15 psi several times

fittings are rusted solid put pb blaster, super wd40 and cant get fittings to move or come off. I was thinking of cutting line and hose clamp new lines, or put on exterior electric pump on line any ideas on what I should do.
