I respect the man becuase even though news outlets have claimed to 'debunk' the story they have not and Donald is just letting everyone know. Having a Certificate of Live birth and a childhood friend and family say he was born in Hawaii is hardly debunking the questions at hand.

My questions is simple and similar to Donald. If Obama is a citizen why doesn't he just show his birth certificate? Why is this so hard? If this was still the 40's and 50's the certificate would already have been printed on every front page in the country. Personally I do think he's a citizen (I guess I'm not a birther) but I do think the man has something to hide or something he's insecure about and I would be willing to bet it has something to do with religion or the likes. Where does everyone else stand on this? Please people, why make a mountain out of a molehill? Show us the BC and be done with it. It's like that Red Staples Button, "That was easy".

I think the bigger question is, why has Obama spent $2million averting the topic?

On the other hand, no one else has been able to show solid proof that he ISN'T a born citizen.

I'm 50/50 on the issue. My gut leans a little more one way than the other though.

Who is Trump to question anyone's ability or legal status to be president? If Trump's track record at running a real estate empire is any indication of how he'd run the country, we're in for a bumpy ride.

Ah, because he was born here and can prove it?

And just for laughs, Trumps business record may be stories of success and failure but when stacked up against Obama's 'No story / No business experience period' it paints a very stark picture.

You should probably figure out what companies Trump actually runs versus his name is still a part of because he divested the company along the way (i.e. unprofitable casino businesses that he sold years ago). He went to Wharton, so I am sure he is an idiot at anything having to do with business. His business record isnt perfect, but he has weathered the ups and downs, and from what I can tell, life is good for him right now. Its the experience of having been at the top and bottom of the ups and downs that gives him a unique perspective.

Right. Likewise, just because President George W. Bush went to Yale that makes him an intellectual powerhouse. And being a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford taught President Clinton all he should have known about good judgment. Having a diploma does not necessarily equate to being wise.

I watched the morning new interview with him and never thought id feel this way...i would vote for him.

I voted Obama

I liked what Trump was saying about putting the US first in our spending and interests.

Also like how Trump said hes a business man and made countless deals, some good some bad, but hes made them and has that experience.

He said the best thing Obama has done is get elected, i agree. We all know his campaign run was incredible.

With all this fuss about the birth certificate, I agree in saying, just show it and move on.

Trump, regardless of what some may say, does have business experience. And that is exactly what we need to get our economy back in order, as well as button up our borders and focus more on our own financial/political, etc. issues as opposed to being a "Mother Teresa" of the world. Stop with the freaking handouts and get our own economy in order first and foremost.

ritard? doing, not saying? so, gw ad bc....both were gubernators before becoming presidents had "doing" experience in national security (iraq war #1 and #2) and economic issues? i mean seriously? we vote based on so many issues. thats the beauty of a pair-wise voting system. facts and track record have nothing to do with politics. you tell me a politician that doesnt skew the facts and the track record in their favor when times are good, and admits to wrong doing when they arent.

gw also went to andover. not a bad youth education by any standard. clinton also went to yale. maybe yale is the problem. read their books and you will get a better glimpse of their life other than what was on nightly news. they absolutely are brilliant in their own right. humans make mistakes. ...having a diploma from yale does equate to being wise. very wise.'

I invite anyone reading this to come to my house and question my citizenship. It will take less than one minute for me to welcome you, shake your hand, and go to my safe to show you my original birth certificate.
Why the hell won't he do the same.
I have heard several states are preparing to pass legislation that requires proof of eligibility to be allowed on the Presidential ballot in the state's election.

I think you're right on the money there. Not everyone has two million just sitting around so you can 'hide' your birth certificate. What's wrong with this picture? To me this is essentially shady behavior on the presidents part.
