Turn signals and cold weather

Seem like with the cold weather starting up I'm getting a new intermitent issue.

When the weather drops below around 50 or so, I start getting a fast turn signal flash on the driver's side. The rear signal works fine, but the front driver side doesn't flash until the temps rise. Any ideas to start the troubleshooting? Originally I was thinking it was the stalk as the bulb is good. This weekend I'll be pulling the front light out to check connections. Anyone else experience this?

Thanks,
Justin

PS. It's not a moisture/ice... I'm in dry old arizona!

HA! when its cold mine gets really slow. i figure its just the contacts and stuff in the flaser unit that dont move or act as quickly when its so cold. its been low teens and single digits here for over a week. and its not moisture/ice.... im in dry utah

I must have the Arctic Edition Discovery... mine doesn't do it and I have a Series I. If I were you, I would find the problem, fix it, and then smear some dialetric (sp?) grease on the terminals.

Good to know I'm not alone! Anyhow, I'll check the bulb holder contacts, the flasher unit, and the stalk and report back.

I've had the slow issue as well (more like a 2 second delay before it starts flashing) but this is the first time I get a fast flash and no front blinker.

Thanks,
Justin
