Turning over, but won't start

My 94 DI is turning over, but won't actually start. Fuel pump appears to be working (was replaced in the last 10k). Ignition coil was replaced about 5k ago but seems like a likely culprit, although at this point I'm just not sure. Any suggestions for troubleshooting would be appreciated.

are you sure your getting spark??? my 95 DI has a nasty habbit of not starting when the cap and rotor are going bad....

whenever this happens (turns over but wont start) i simpley unsnap the cap, carefully with out unplugging any wires, blow out the inside of the cap, wipe the tip of the rotor and snap it back on... the try starting it again

that almost always works. when the frequency that i have to do this becomes a pain in the ass... its time to replace the cap and rotor.

Thanks for the post. Tried that, replaced cap & rotor. Also replaced coil, confirmed spark. Now turning to troubleshooting fuel system to confirm fuel pressure, fuel pump/relays etc working. We'll see.

Great time for her to go die-moving in a few days. Paul Morgan, we're heading that way next week even if it's on a flatbed!

If/when I solve the issue I will post a more comprehensive after-action.

I 'v been here too, Got down to not starting at all but could be push started.
It turned out to be the Ignition switch falling apart at the back of the key barrel.
Very common I'v been told and can cost Big $$$$$$$$s chasing down the wrong diagnosis.
It was an RAC man I called out to my 4 th no start that pinpointed my problem.
