anyone know where i can get the kit to upgrade my rear drive shaft to a u-jointed one-its a 96d1

If you're really desperate, Atlantic British has the kit for an astounding sale price of $349.00. :eek: I'm sure someone has one lying around in their garage if you wait long enough.

yeah, you can either order from any of the parts places and they should have the kit, or go through junkyards for all the bits. just make sure you get everything, spacer being the one thing i always hear of people missing when they go through the pick and pulls.

i went the parts houses route a couple months ago when British Pacific ran the conversion kit on their Daily Deal for $200 and change. didn't want to be partially through the job and realize i am missing something. figured at that price, why not.

If you are going to spend the time and effort doing this conversion, just go to GBR or Tom Woods. Done, and you will have a servicable drive shaft that you can take to any shop to have it balanced, repaired...

Be prepared to go get a nice slide hammer and modify it a bit to get the centering pin from the flange.
