I made it back to the states with a fair amount of Ugandan Coffee. I met a guy down there who buys directly from the cleaning stations. I roasted some of these on saturday and they're very nice. Taking pre-orders. Reason for this is I do not roast the coffee until it is ordered to ensure freshness. I can do $15/lb shipped to the east coast, $20 to the west. 15% of every dweb sale goes back to the forum.

PM me your order.

I have been wanting some since I left Kampala in 03!

Hopefully my friend who is over there remembers to bring me some back, if not I will place an order. She gets back around the 10th, hopefully you will have a bit left if she can't find the room to bring some back.

Did you get to raft the Nile while you were there? I can't remember if you said you had done it before or not.

Didn't get to raft the nile this time, but we're going back in December, so maybe then. I did, however, do something just as thrilling... it involves two wheels, a 100cc engine, and a crazy driver. You know exactly what I'm talking about, and I was scared for my life!

I was being a tad bit sarcastic. I'm a cop, and cops learn about different coffees in the academy. There is an entire week section about different roasts and beans. The in-and-outs of all different coffees. Most real cops don't drink milk when they're born, they drink coffee. Eat, sleep, drink, love, coffee. Ooooh, yummy coffee.

Coffee is my one true weekness. You know you're not a rookie when you're sitting at home on days off, and a buddy calls and asks you to go drinking, and you think "yeah, I haven't been to (insert favorite coffee shop) in a while."

I'd like to try some. what's your paypal?

yep, simple as leaving it in longer. let me know if you want a lb.

I thought dark coffee was roasted less? As in, not as long?

No, French roast is roasted longer which makes the beans darker.

If the beans are good quality beans, the last thing you want is a French Roast. Order a lighter roast. The longer that you roast the beans, the more that you lose the unique flavors of the beans.

right. African beans, especially. Most of the beans from Africa are going to be temperamental to over-roasting.

PMs sent to everyone. Dang, you guys bought me out. All coffee is sold, just made a call to a friend in Kampala, and I've got 20 more lbs coming next week. I'll fill all DWEB orders when I get back from Chicago next week and ship them out.

All coffee will be roasted 1 day prior to shipping, so your beans will be, at the very most, 4 days old. Beats the hell outta starbucks. Thanks folks!
