Wife have one no issues yet

Ours was great off road and fun too: some where after 40k, things went wrong more and more, IRD, AC compressor, 6 or seven engine seals(rear main), plenty of loaner cars in the garage over a few years...oh yeah, water ingress from rear window and a few other things, something with the window regulator and maybe some stuff I am forgetting. One I recall was an odd sound- a thunk, that only happened from the right rear in the rain..no one had any clue what it was..what so ever:rofl:

..when I learned it was gonna be hard to get a motor or parts for one, it seemed more prudent to sell it off and use it to acquire a disco rather than ante up for a warranty..

plus the speedo error on them was obviously geared to benefit the dealer-it registered faster and more miles than you actually went by a shit load

I blew thru 45k aweful quick, I think it was like almost 8mph at 80mph with stock tires.
thast almost 10 percent for someone who commuted alot at the time, so while I sold it at 46k, I probably really drove it 41k...

but nice for a cute-ute ish car, and unstoppable in the snow with LT mud tires

didn't honda run into some trouble with this same issue about '99 - '02 era? I think there was a rather expensive lawsuit pending, but honda took care of all of the owners by extending their warranty another 5k miles.
