Hello All
I just replaced one of my Coil packs and noticed there is a black plastic air line (or what appears to be an airline) against the firewall on the drivers side. It is NOT attached to anything nor do i see any place nearby to attach it to. The hose appears to go from the area of the firewall near the engine (drivers side) over and around the brake booster - it then wraps under the booster and seems to head down under the truck to the front wheel near as I can tell.
I did a search on here and I have gone through the book a couple of times and have not figured it out. Truck seems to run ok - My cruise doesnt work (hasnt in a long time) but I dont think its that........

So - any idea?
Thanks
Scott

Two 'hockey-stick' ended pipes are usually hooked over the clutch cylinder heat shield on RHD cars, they are the gearbox and transfer case breathers, auto boxes don't have a breather as such.

There's also the fuel canister breather pipe in that location, that has a clip-on end to it. Probably goes to some emission-related part in the USA.

Id believe a breather hose of some sort....
I saw no other plastic line that wasnt attached nearbye and its a straight pipe - nothing "hockey stick" like.. So this one stands alone. Oh and mines an automatic not a stick - not sure if that makes any difference....
