Definitely go with wraparound diff guards. My front is from DAP, my rear is from Lucky 8. The rear protects pinion as well.

My rear wrap around QT is nice. I went with a weld on front and I want to get a Rock Ware front pinion guard that covers the tie rod.

"MO" -The "M" is the slanted M from the TerrafirMa name, and the "O" is simply and opening to get to the diff. fill plug from what I can tell. Just my thoughts, nothing I know for certain.

I'm a fan of the Tactical Rover/4x4 diff guards (and haven't seen them mentioned):

I see they have jumped in price since i got mine (i think i paid $75) but they have changed the design slightly, the tabs that are welded to the axle are now integral as 1 piece. The tabs on mine are welded on then bolt on to the rest of the guard, either way they are pretty damn tough and provide protection all the way back to the D-shaft.

Damn....one could have confidence and all day protection with those wings. :D Couldn't help it. I'm sure they are great.

My QT's have taken quite a few shots and are still holding up well.

Mostly Rockware skids on mine. My front weld-on diff guard is way more abused than the rear one. I have taken it in the rocks quite a bit in the past.
