I think it's a better solution than the ratchet strap awkwardly hooked to the trailer. Are you suggesting chains? The straps have a cordura sleeve and I do not see chafing being an issue if that is the concern.

Axle straps?

I think he's talking about that it looks like your straps are hooked to the axles and not the chassie. This will allow the body (and most of the weight) to rock back and forth on the springs and cause things to be less stable.

none of your fucking business
So tomorrow at work....my boss is gone, my bosses boss is gone and I have been signed up for fucking CPR training from 8-10am.

So, after that I'm picking up an axle housing for mike "fancy socks" widner, then I have to come home and pack because Im too drunk off of lobster tails and banquet beer to do it tonight. Plus I was up at 4am to go to a fucking conference in Wilmington this morning.

Damnit I just want to sit around a fire, get drunk, talk about rovers, and sleep on the ground. Is that tooooo much to ask?

Ill be there by 3pm tomorrow.

Went to Uwharrie for the first time to camp with the fam. Had no idea it was URE!8 weekend. Camped right outside of the group camp and got a nice view of all the cool Rovers driving by Sun morning. My 3 yr old asked me if my "friends" were waiving as they drove by- told her that just what we Rover owners do :) We were in the white RRC right outside of Badin Lake camp entrance. I bet it was a blast!
