I am surprised to see that no one picked up on that statement form Fox News!!!
Now being a Canadian, I find that statement actually quite remarkable!
First off an Invasion could be seen by Canadians as an influx on Tourists travelling to Canada. Secondly we would need to dispatch with great haste translators in Quebec , due to the fact that most road signs are in French and the invading force my bog down!
Secondly , depending on when the invasion starts, we Canadians might need to organise well winterized shelter, since the opposing force would be freezing to death. Of course hot chocolate and coco would be served Free to the invading force at any Tim Horton's or Second Cup!
Please make sure that the Invading force's vehicles comes equipped with winter tires , if invading in the winter, if not the cost overuns generated form the tickets you will be getting, might make the whole invasion useless.
Third, Canada would unleash its most feared weapon, the 4 tiers of government! Yes 4 ties of babbling politicians, who can go on and on and on about absolutely nothing, will drive the most men to their knees.
Fourth, trying to explain to Canadians that they have been invaded! Most would ignore such a statement and continue to do what they do. Some would accelerate their cross border shopping, since the borders have evaporated.
Now the Canadian border guards have a Union and you will have to deal with the Union telling them their members are out of work. Good luck with that!
You also will have to deal with local LE agencies, again unionized, so again have fun with that one.
Government, you cannot defeat it if you cannot find it!!!
So sure next winter, please start up your engines and come on down, we need some fun up here!
