Used HDC, now brakes are hot and smelly

So I used HDC, then drove about half a mile out of the woods, drove about 4 miles to the next trail and stopped to pick some apples. I immidiately noticed that distinct burning brake smell coming from the front end. No lights on the dash, no problem stopping, in fact nothing at all was unusual, except the smell, and the hot disks.

I let them cool down, then drove 25 miles home. Hot - stinky. Two days later I drove 10 miles and they were still smelly and hot.

Anyone have this problem before? Anyone know how bad the fix will be?
(Yes, I did search, all I got was four pages of Three Amigos "discussions")

Thanks!

sounds like a stuck caliper.

take it for a good drive then hold the back of your hand near the openings in the rim and if a caliper is stuck it will clearly be hotter then the rest.

Yep, that sounds about right, the wierd thing though, is that these calipers are only a year old, and both front ones are much hotter than the rear ones.

That leads me to suspect more of an electronic problem than a mechanical one.

Any more tests I can do to narrow it down?
