My D1 I think has a vacuum leak at the brake servo. Does this need to be replaced or is there another option that I have?

Replace or rebuild is the only real direction...unless the trucks were available with non-power brakes them you could convert but that may require alot more parts....
Crap. well does anybody know where I can get a rebuild kit for the brake servo and do I have to remove the dash

As for the remove part...i'm not sure but on my DII it looks like there's a plate on the firewall that comes out from the engine bay....Check with your local yellow pages for a rebuilder, some of these have very strong springs in them and it's not a safe job without the proper equipement for the job......
