Looking for a running Disco or RRC for a local Church Camp.

Money is tight, so if you have something cheap or even free to a good home any where near WV I will entertain the idea.

It does not have to be in the best looking condition, but I do ask that it at least runs and is drivable.

Please either reply or email me directly at jshreve@zzzip.net

Thanks in advance,

Joey

if you need helping picking up a cheap car i can help if need be. i have a dealers license and head to the auctions every week. from $500 on up you can get inspected and driveable vehicles. you get what you pay for. early 90s american cars, smaller old imports, etc.
i'm located in MD. email if you need me to help out getting you something. garrett@teamrover.com

well a 1992 RR County sold for $700 yesterday. needed two new door handles, shifter film, exhaust leak and some other minor odds and ends. 144K on it. no visible rust.
a nice 1995 DI with 104K on it sold for $1700 and higher mileage DIs (1995-1996) go for $1K or so.

Bump.... still looking.

Remember the key words here are free or cheap.... and no this isn't for my use, it is for a local wilderness Christian Camp.

I am just trying to help him out.

i have a 93 lwb classic i am selling. it has 108,xxx miles on it. the lwb will be perfect for the church. the Rover runs and drives beautifuly, interior is in good condition and all (brake, transmission, engine, diffrential, transfer case) fluids have been changed with dealer specified fluids. the trans was rebuilt by a 20 year vetran land rover master technician 2k miles ago.
i just dont have the space for a 99' range rover, a 97 discovery and a 93 range rover. i love these vehicles, but it is a little rediculous to have 3 of them, dont ya think?
i am asking $3k, but will entertain any offer, be it that you are doing this for a church.
pm me if you are intrested.
cheers,
kyle

a free RR will cost more to fix than a wholsale one at $1k. if it's free it usually means it would cost more to fix than it's worth. a sammy would be a better choice, cheaper to fix, i have seen drivable ones for $200

If the Sammy were larger (seating/compartment) I would agree. They need something that can haul a few people and gear + still pull a canoe trailer. And trust me when I say that the county road leading up to there camp and there access road can be real fun when it rains or snows.
