If it is NAS, B pillar on the drivers' side. Windscreen tag on drivers's side. Passenger side frame horn on the outside. I think there are one or two more locations. I want to say there is one on the DS footwell too, but that could just be 90s.

What if it's not a NAS? More specifically, a 1994 LHD. Would the frame VIN be in the same place?

I have seen one with the plate on windshield, plate on footwell driver's side ( LH ) and stamped on the frame horn passenger side.

No other markings ( all those new build on older vin # are achieved that way I believe ).

Just what I've seen

So, a truck from the UK would have the VIN stamped on the right-hand-side frame horn?

..and just so we're on the same page, what are you calling the "frame horn"?

Yup. Its also called the "Dumb Iron" by the brits. Its the part welded on below the main frame rail @ the very front of the truck. The part that has the side openings for access to the nuts for the bumper bolts. Always that part right side.

It should also have a VIN plate on the brake booster, and etched/engraved into the frame, inside the left rail, just ahead of the bulkhead.

Back in the USA; Rockwood, PA
mine in Brasil had a plate attached to the bulkhead behind the brake booster.

also on the frame as RoverTrader mentioned.

this was really hard to find by the way - when I Lojacked the Rover, it took awhile for the installer to find it.
