I am away from my rover this week and would like to buy this tool before I get back home.

Is it a 42mm or 36mm? I have seen many posts on both.

The direction on the threads is normal correct since it has one belt?

Thanks

FYI for anyone else, when looking at the engine turn wrench to the LEFT to loosen, I have these, makes short work, the pulley holder works much better then any prybar/screwdriver...

I am all up for buying tools that someone else has already approved.

Where did you get yours and do you know the part numbers?

Thanks

I managed to get mine loose today with a 1-7/16" (I think) fan wrench. Not a perfect fit, but good enough.

I just did this today on my 02 d2 and used a KDT3472 to get that bolt off. The Park headset wrench was my second choice, they make great stuff but bikes have all gone threadless finally! You do need something to hold the pulley. Btw - left hand thread or right hand thread - its normal, lefty loosey, righty tightey. Put the wrench in your right hand and the pulley holder in your left hand and sqeeze them together. It can't be that tight.
