VT in the summer

We are driving up to Vermont the 23rd - 27th, mountain biking at Killington and camping on the AT, anyone up there know anything else going on?

If you can, make a day trip to the Northeast Kingdom, at Burke. Best single track riding in New England.


Other than that, plenty to do in the area.

Head north. Jump on route 100 and enjoy one of the nicest drives. I'd suggest heading to Burlington for a day or two and spend some time on the lake and mountains to the east. This is just outside of Burlington - I use to ride here. http://catamountoutdoor.com/

Actually rt 100 was in my plans,hungout in south burlington, middlebury, and hit up a bunch of brewerys last time. I'll see if we can fit burke in the trip. Does anyone know if downhill gear is needed for Killington?
