Is the water found on the driver or passenger side floor mats?

Some common areas for water to leak on D2s are:
1) clogged A/C drains (if you do a search, lots of replies will come up)
2) windshield screen seal
3) safari windows

it's not coolant is it? I would run the truck with the AC on for a while, take a drive around town, and then make sure that you have two nice water spots underneath when you park it under the transimission. This should tell you if the AC drains are working. You can also look up underneath and find the two rubber drain hoses on either side of the ****** to make sure that they aren't clogged.

Can someone tell me....

...why "t-r-a-n-n-y" is a banned word? :rolleyes

As Jason said, check the condensate drains high up on either side of the bellhousing. These little rubber teats become hardend with age and road funk, just be prepared to get an armpit full of stagnant water when you massage them. Worst case scenario is that the drain may need to be 'snaked' to remove built-up gunge.

Cheers

You know those sidepanels? "kickplates" we call em............. well they are held on with "pushbuttons" the top button is open to the inner fender well, water from the roadwheel hits that and runs in, i stoped mine on a Disco l by trashing the pushbutton thingy and using a 1/4 " lagscrew into the hole coated with a ton of sillycone........:)
