Water pump

So which water pump should I buy for my V8 LR3? Are any of the aftermarket pumps good? The Land Rover part is quite expensive.

Anything else I should replace while I'm in there? I've heard one of the drive belt pulleys has been updated.

put in a genuine thermostat assembly. the plastic housing cracks.

i can not stress this enough, USE genuine parts on that truck.

also, put in a new breather LR003380, on the passenger side valve cover.

Are you sure the water pump is bad? They do fail, but I've seen very few of them. Most of the time it is the thermostat housing leaking.
