Yep he’s gonna follow that 18 year old manual to a tee & then bitch LR’s are crap when it blows up because in the nearly 20 years since a D2 rolled off the assembly line nothing has been tried & tested, and found to work better vs the OEM setup.

Slap some water based “personal” lubricant in it for all I care.

No, my actual POINT is that y'all are some hard-typing motherfuckers, that no doubt know every fucking thing there is to know about every fucking thing.

Since I don't know you, or your actual qualifications, I stick with the manufacturer info in that instance.
If I actually KNEW you, and wasn't just relying on your self-stated expertise, then I might take your suggestions to heart.

And when it comes right down to it, the only cooling system problem I had in either of my rovers was the stupid little plastic nipple vent thing on the P38.
Pretty sure that stupid fucking design had nothing to do with Dexcool.

If you go by the manual, then “why” even bother with online forums full of other peoples opinions in the first place? Just get the RAVE Manual along with your Owners Manual & call it a day.

I’m not here to spread lies & get kicks off of people blowing up their LR’s. I’m here cause I love LR’s and I wanna help keep as many as possible on the road.
