we petition the obama administration to:

We Demand President Obama Resign

President Richard Nixon resigned after wiretapping a handful of journalists, sparing the nation the ordeal of impeachment. We call on Obama to do the same. His administration vetted the NSA's surveillance of millions of Americans and seriously violated the Fourth Amendment. He confiscated the personal records of reporters, thus violating the First Amendment, and the IRS under his watch harassed political organizations opposed to his policies. Moreover, his administration has lied under oath to Congress. In addition to violating Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution by invading Libya, his administration engaged in torture and conducted a covert drone war. Due to the severity of these crimes, we call for the immediate resignation of Barack Obama.

Good luck with that! I can not stand that man but he will not resign because he feels like he deserves to be POTUS. But here is the second question do you want crazy Joe running this county? I have signed it but it will be like everything in DC swept under the rug. You are wasting your time, do not be surprised when you get audited by the IRS. I am serious.

Let me ask you this. WTF did people think was happening? Is this really a surprise? WTF do you think the Patriot Act was meant to do.

The problem I see in asking Obama to resign is to assume that Obama is the source of all the corruption in the government. Do you honestly think that if a Republican was in office that all this stuff would not have happened?

If you think Obama is the problem then you are confused. The problem is that we are run by a two party system where "We The People" are no longer in control. Our elected officials are bought and paid for by corporations who don't give a shit about anything except for their profits.

So go ahead, impeach the current "leader" , but I will not hold my breath while we wait for true leader to step up to the plate.

But a corporation is considered "A Person". So technically it's still We The People. just not human people. But if you as a human had millions of dollars to throw at a congresscritter, you could have them vote your way too.

Our president is no more than a servant that we have hired to direct the management of interstate and foreign affairs. He is the leader of no entity beyond those directly employed by the federal government.

Only servants have leaders. The president doesn't lead us. We lead the president.

People forget that. People, over time, vote themselves out of power. They are happy to do so.

It's got shit-all to do with "corporations", and neither is the "middle class" of any relevance. This is a manner of encouraging envy and disgust, and it is an incredibly effective tactic. Be envious of those above, and disgusted with those below.

By focusing on such things, one loses focus on the actual problem and, incidentally, loses focus on his own progress in life.

As I've said before, nothing makes an idiot more happy than giving away power, and nothing makes a smart man more happy than taking it. As as do we all, he believes he knows best what to do with that power, and he will never give it back.

People have been giving away power long enough to fix us in an exponential cascade involving the erosion of that power.

Our founding fathers (as well as many others) spoke many times, and quite accurately, about the events that we currently endure.

Cheers,

Kennith

Former head of NSA said this morning that this has been around since before BHO, and that most of Congress knew of it. Are they all resigning? This is about the power of government, not Obama.

It is not entirely correct. The president, just by his/her sheer visibility, can become a leader - all the while remaining the people's servant.
Leadership is also a service.

Yeah, I thought about that, but I figured the general idea was decent enough to post anyway, even if it was slightly flawed.

I had to start somewhere, after all.

Keep on believing that shit. They the congress the POTUS who thinks he is the anointed one does not care about this country, it is all about money period. That is why I think that senators and house representatives should have term limits. Because the House is only a way for many of these useless turds to make a living. IE Harry Reid.

Power is zero sum, reducing one man's power mean's improving someone else's position. In this case term limits would weaken the legislators empowering the courts, the executive branch, and the bureaucrats.
