i had some water under my carpet a while back and it wasnt so hard to fix..
First i removed the passenger seat/cd changer. I then removed the trim panels that held the carpet down(black pieces on the floor near the door sills/ remove the center plastic piece to expose screws to remove these trim pieces)
Then it was just a matter of pulling the carpet out from under the dash and folding it back..There was quite a bit of standing water under the carpet and the black padding was soaked...I dried the standing water but had to leave the carpet pulled back for 2 or 3 days to let the black padding dry all the way..then i sprayed a little mildew spray under the carpet after all the water was gone and repeated these steps in reverse..
Pretty easy job. just takes a little time to complete..
