Hey now.... My wife has a 2007 Cross Country. The thing is pretty sweet for what it is., though i have not put it to the test offroad. Not sure i'd have my wife and daughter in any other car.

the only reason i could see for putting an lr2 section up would be out of sympathy for the owners; that is, if it's anything at all like the first freelander.

everytime i think about my hunk of crap freelander i want to throw up. i need to unload it on some poor unsuspecting sap. then i can look forward to paying off the rest of my loan for nothing.

i don't know much about any of the new ranger rovers, lr3 or lr2 stuff, but in my opinion all newer land rovers suck. they're way overpriced and have way too many problems that cost way too much money to fix.

what's the point of buying their new junk? buy an old rover, or if you want something new that's capable off road, buy a rubicon wrangler. that way, if it ever breaks, you can get it fixed cheaply and easily.

ugh, i want to puke.

And this is EXACTLY why there doesn't need to be an LR2 forum--I posted the last comment on this thread three days ago (I know--THREE!!) and nobody has posted anything new. Nothing at all. :banghead: This Freelander section is like the Western front on Discoweb. Thanks.

Shit, I just bought an LR2 and I don't even want to see an LR2 section on here.

Good daily driver. Feels like a modern Rover. Switches are in the right places and is an easy transition from driving the LR3. Expect it to be great in the winter snow and ice. Adds to the neighborhood snobby Land Rover family look.

But not going off-road unless I accidentally jump a curb. That's what all other LRs are for (except perhaps the RRS - let the flames begin!)

The only other section I could think of for the site is "spotted" for when you see other modified rovers around town.

I have seen more NAS 110s in my area than LR2s. Are they putting "rare" in the sale ads yet?

My wife and I love ours! Great vehicle. Descent MPG too. We did the offroad course at the dealership in it....its no disco, but its fairly capable.
