What did your tree cost?

I paid $70 for a 7 foot. Never got a tree cheaper than $60. This year I cut it down at a wildlife sanctuary tree farm that plants three trees for every one purchased. Guess when tax is $20k on a tenth of an acre you should expect to pay more for a tree.

I was going to post something similar in regard to the prices/crippling taxes even on farmland. I've just said fuck it the past few years. The gf has a fake one anyhow.

1/2 a tank of gas in the disco and $32 at the local tree farm for a 8' white fir I and my kids cut ourselves...would have been $50+ on a nearby lot, but it was worth it to get the kids out and let them pick it themselves.

Getting towed out by some nice family out looking for a tree in the same area - Priceless.

the place i went to was in Westport. you should have seen the peoples faces when i rolled up in my d2. they all had their 2011 rangies, fancy ll bean clothes and their special once a year christmas saw. it was priceless.

I found the nicest tree, fake or real, that I've ever owned for $9 from the local thrift store. And got a really nice jacket and bitchin' nerdy sweater vest while I was there, too!
