With that Bosch 4.0, How did he get away with removing the cats? I thought they were an essential:rolleyes: part of the ECU.

i dont like it. there is a lot of flash there but he is not mentioning anything bad. thats the cheap POS northwest rip off rack, you cant put just any winch in the front and besideds its ugly too. fender flares, fugly spare tires are differnt size than what he is running, stupid. front seats are shit. i am sure there are all sorts of little dings and scrapes holmes isnt showing. i see there is no rust in the corner of the door. bullshit. must have been painted, whatelse is he hiding. removed the cats ? why? more power bullshit. did some peicemeal engine work and then ran out of cash before doing the cats and is now trying to dump it on ebay.

the truck is all fluff. you can do lift and springs and bumper for 2k + 1k for a rack and diffguards so you should not be paying more that 3 k over retail PERIOD.

I got my 97 with 118,000 miles on it. Put 2" RTE Lift, RTE bummper, Superwinch EPi9.0, HD steering rods, diff guards, Roof rack, 235/85-16 tires and some other stuff and I'm still over a $1,000 less then what his Buy it now is. Also I have (not that I want or need) rear jump seats and air and my seats look a lot better.

I think it's a bit high but I'm not an expert.

Did you notice the Hi-Lift mounted to the floor panel in front of the rear seat? Is anybody else running that mounting setup? Pros and/or cons, other than not being able to fold the seat with the jack in place?

Unless it's got something really exceptional not mentioned (which I doubt), it's way too much for a 96 with that mileage.

not really , its pretty simple to mount it there.

you'll need 2x 3/8 bolts about 2" long , 6 suitable washers, 2 normal nuts + 2 wingnuts and 3/8 diameter drill.

lay the highlift bar on the carpet and mark where you want the bolts.

drill 3/8 holes, be sure to look under floor first for something you shouldnt drill into.

next slide one washer onto bolt, slid bolt thru hole from under truck, slide on another washer and nut. tightent till good and tight - i'd probably use blue loctite or nyloc nut the more i think about it.

do the other side the same, then slide highlift on to bolts and secure with the washers under the wingnuts . i'm thinking this is a 1 hr mod.

I did the same mounting with my hilift. But instead of drilling into the floor, I used L brackets and mounted it to the bolt used for the seats. Works nice.
