what gauge steel to patch floor?

I am fixing my front floor, what gauge aka thickness should I buy? I have it all cut out nice in square and ready to weld in new stuff.

1/8th inch plate. dont want the rocks getting too close...scratch that, 1/4 inch. lets overbuild it.

Ok, what is the factory gauge?

I believe 16 gauge would be about factory.

No, it's not that thick. I'm getting ready to do mine and I got some 22 ga. which seems to be pretty close to stock. 16 ga. would make for a stout floor though!
