I spend way to much time on AKForum.com obviously its AK centric. But there are a lot of good folks there that talk about just about every type of firearm. It's kind of like the anti AR15.com site, good inteligent stuff not the hyper shit show the ARF can be. Otherwise HKPRO, and gunboards are about it for me.

One of the AK forums I went on a while back, not sure if its the one you mentioned above and asked the guys how to no shit BZO an AK (turns, adjustments, etc.). No real replies. Figured it out on my own and made the BZO targets for it since then. The majority seemed more focused on matching correct barrels, receivers, etc. for collector value as opposed to exchanging any practical info so to speak.

I feel your pain, there are several descriptions on AK Forum. But none as a sticky etc. The honest truth is that most people don't have a clue about how to achieve BZO on their weapon no matter what that weapon is. Case in point we had a couple of 2 gun matches at my gun club this summer, about 19 shooters each match. Everybody, except me, with $750-$1500 AR's. Out of all those shooters none undestood the mechanics of, or why it's a good idea to ZERO your weapon. They had all just managed through luck or trial and error to set up their optics or irons to be close to the POI at some unspecified range. I found it truely interesting when most of these folks said that the weapons that they were using were their home defense weapons, that's a little worriesome:( .

Exactamente. In a lot of such forums, to someone simply browsing it may appear like a whole load of information, but once a practical question or two are poised, quite often all you hear is crickets. It is funny about BZO though, see that when I go out to an open to the public range. All you see is guys with big ass guts sitting on benches and plinging cans, bottles, etc with either deer rifles or modded up M-4 types with every possible mod on them. Ah well, I suppose 25 yard snipers have to exist.
