Head light and wiper switches- and sometimes only the mounting, not the electrical portion; hazard switch will get dusty, sticky and prevent the turn signals from working when stuck only partially engaged; u-joints- the front shaft is pretty short, right?; Taillamp wiring if not fitted with the military waterproofing; lamp sockets on the later ones due to corrosion (minor stuff, but could be a problem if one was going country to country and the border crossing encourages squeaky wheel greasing. Plus they are small, light pieces.) and all of the regular stuff that could go wrong on any Rover that hopefully could get attended to before heading out on that trip of a lifetime: water pumps, belts, wheel bearings, brakes.
