What is this wire/connector for (passenger door)?

Hi,

I have a 2004 Disco II that had a minor accident a while back. The body shop replaced the door but ever since, there is a buzz/rattle coming from the door panel. I finally got around to pulling the panel and securing it properly to stop the minor annoyance.

However, while the door was apart, I found this orange pair of wires that was not connected. I popped the drivers door mirror plastic to see what it was connected to. I found the same pair of wires, but they were attached deep inside the door. I tested all of the door functions: both speakers work, electric door lock, as well as mirror operations and heating. I'm assuming it's just a wiring harness that LR uses on both doors, but it's just no used on the passenger door?

Any thoughts on this?

That plug is for the power folding mirror function, not found in North American spec DII trucks. You truck is wired for it but it was never offered over here, much more common in other countries. You will find the same unused plug in the driver side harness.
