This is fasinating to me.... I'm dying to know.

For years, I have always used the same plugs what came out of the engine. But, there are so many people that don't.

Why not?

on my 65 stang, I would clean my autolites every 12k or so, then before I put them in, I would dip the tips in gas...the same set of plugs worked for the entire time I had the car....I'm about to change the plugs and wires on the Rover now and I too have been curious as to what i should use...dont worry though, the Search Tool will help me figure that out...(no need for the Flam Suite)

i've just been putting the cheapest plugs from atlantic british in the '99DII - change them every 30k

Haven't had a problem and couldn't notice a difference over the more expensive original style champions.

I use whatever I can pick up cheap at whatever auto store I am in. I have never noticed a difference and until someone can show me a study done by an independent source that shows otherwise I will continue to use whatever is cheap.

I just use the cheap OEM plugs or similar and change them every 15K or so. The old Rover V8 has no need for fancy plugs.

I tried Bosch +4's once, and I'd have to say I don't like them. I now stick with OEM plugs. I also use stock NGK's on my Toyotas. I tried splitfires once in my '85 Toyota pickup once and was not the least bit impressed.

i've used NGK's in my truck for the past 70k+ miles. put them in when I first got the truck because i had heard good things and they are inexpensive. a local parts store was going out of business and everything was 50%+ off. I bought 3 sets of 8 at that time, so until they run out, stick with them. runs smooth, no codes, etc, etc.

Plugging along

I use the Champion RN12YC in the '96 Disco AND the '72 Series III. I even use 'em in the boat....all are happy with 'em.
