1982 Honda Accord Hatchback. Silver with dry rotted interior and a great little engine.
Had 180k on it when I paid $800 for it, and had 280k when I gave the thing away 6 years later.
I loved that car, and I've kind of been checking ebay lately for another one.

First car was a 97 Subaru Legacy GT with a 5 speed. Drove it back in forth from school in Durango, Colorado. Headgaskets went bad driving east through Oklahoma in the middle of winter, babied it to Joplin, Missouri and was stuck there for a few days. It was a nice little car but after getting the Discovery I couldn't go back.

X2. Mine was in mint condition in 1976 when i bought it for $500. Except you could only get third gear if you double clutched. Then 3rd shit the bed completely. It was amazingly easy to change the tranny in that thing. Totaled 1977 by a ford Torino wagon in the snow, that was sliding downhill through a stop sign. Had a friend with a Porsche 914 and I used to tell him they were the same car, engine, different bodies. They werent, but my slowpoke had a backseat.

My first car was a 1965 6cyl Mustang Coupe, it was a POS, but I bought it when I was 15 and worked on it, traded it and my dirtbike for a nicer 1966 289 coupe (for the money I couldn't get there in a restoration). I worked on and drove the 66 all through high school and now I have the disco and now have another Mustang, 65 GT K-code Fastback.

My first car was a 65 289 Mustang coupe. That car went through hell, drove it all through high school, did my first engine rebuild on it. Terrible car in snow/ice.

No pics. Stolen. Found on blocks in Chicago. Stripped of everything than could be unbolted. Hoods, doors, interior, etc.

Bought my second car with help from the insurance settlement - 73' Triumph TR6. Maybe the best car I have owned. Reliable, fun, great in snow and ice. Wish I still had it. Family started to grow and ...... no back seat. So ....... 75' International Scout II.

1988 Oldsmobile tornado. maroon with crushed red velvet interior. headliner was sagging so some properly placed thumb tacks turned it into button tuck. she had 200k on the clock. her nmae was the pillow due to the kooshy ride. damn thing would make you sea sick with driving down the interstate due to the suspension... R.I.P. pillow. :(

1992 Mazda B2200...2WD, black, SE-5, Buckets, 5 speed, cranked torsion bars, my own ghetto stereo system, wetsuits, wax all over the dash and some interesting stains in the passenger seat....man I miss that truck.

Donald N. Frey, Designer of the Mustang, Dies at 86

Donald N. Frey, the engineer who spearheaded the design and development of the Mustang, the spunky, stylish, affordably priced “pony car” that the Ford Motor Company rolled out in the mid-1960s in one of the most successful car introductions in automotive history, died March 5 in Evanston, Ill., where he lived. He was 86.....
