My front passenger side was sagging about an 1" to 1 1/2"s with my OME lift. I just swapped it out to a 4" lift and Im still having the same issue.

Measuring from bottom spring perch to top perch its about 1 1/4" difference from left to right.. Only in the front.

Thinking something is bent or broken, but what?? Ive visually inspected everything I can think of:banghead:

My next step is to just throw a 1" spacer in that one corner and call it done.

Any other suggestions?

If it's still sagging with the new springs, I would start looking real close at the perches. Also, depending on the springs, some have a little bit more lift on the left to compensate for the driver. But shouldn't be that much.

Two different springs, same issue. So its not the springs. Im leaning towards the upper perch. I used an angle finder app on my phone to do some checking and I found that one of the upper perchs is tilted forward 5 degrees off from the other.

Not sure if it being tiled forward should make that much of a difference. Especially since you said one side is compressing 1 1/4" more than the other side. So if the distance between the perches is different I would not think to location of the perch is the only problem.

First thing I would do just to rule it out, would be to swap the springs left to right. If the springs are sided you still have about a 25% chance of putting them in wrong 2 time in a row. If you have the same sag after you switch the springs I would try and figure out if one side is low or the other is high.

I've had one side sit high before because something was binding and not letting the side drop properly. Not sure what it could be on a DII but I'm sure there is something. I assume you no longer have any anti-sway bars?

No sway bars.. Im really leaning towards it being a bent perch. Nothing is binding.

Any reason not just put 1" spacer in that corner and call it good?

Other than that it's addressing a symtom and not the cause. I can't think of a reason not to. It's your truck. :D

I would still try to swap the springs just to see before going the spacer route. You can always still add the spacer afterwards.

Yeah I know its not the right way to fix it, but I dont have the time, money or energy to try and fix something like a bent spring perch.

For what and how I use the truck, Im thinking the spacer should be ok...

Ill swap the springs when I do my redo my brake lines.

I have a similar problem with my 04 D2. I have a 3" TF lift and have replaced the springs to see if that fixed the problem with new TF springs but the passenger side still sags. Mainly the passenger rear by approx 1".

THinking of just buying 1" spacer for the rear for the quick fix but curious if K-Rover found a difference solution or the problem.

Start with a smaller spacer than that. Because of spring rates in my experience, you would raise the truck more than an inch with a 1 inch spacer. Maybe I'm wrong about this but a long time ago we shimmed springs in the front of Oldsmobiles and thats what I used to find.

I would measure from the frame to the ground and the top of the wheel arch and decide if it's the body that's off a little or if it's really in the spring.

I measured every which way and could not figure out what is out of wack. Im leaning towards body mounts or something along those line.. Even though they all look ok...

I put a 1" spacer in the front right corner and it sits perfectly level now. Not to say thats the correct way to fix it, but mine is 90% trail truck so Im just going with it!
